Beautiful community, excellent staff, spacious apartments!! This has been one of the best apartment living experiences I ve had thus far. Living in Germantown is a nice plus too!

My experience has been great It's a beautiful community that has been well taken care of and is a place I'm proud to call home. The staff has been amazing as well, making this one of the best apartment complexes I've lived at.

Been at The Retreat over a year now. The staff and maintenance crew are attentive to residence needs. We enjoy it here

I really like it

I love living in this community but when I moved in the office management presented a lot of problems for me and didnt show up five times to paint my unit which they should have done before I moved in . There were blue smiley faces and marks on the walls. I ended up paying 500 to have someone paint the whole apartment myself because they stopped answering me. So make sure you get to look at the unit before you sign the lease and before move in day. They wouldnt let me see it until move in day and if I waited it would have been much more expensive monthly. Also, my neighbors moved in with two dogs and they wake me up every morning and never stop barking. Other than the staff and their inadequacy, I love the unit, the lakes, and how easy parking is. The insulation is okay- My bedroom gets really hot unless the doors are opened. Overall Im happy living here but it did cost me a lot of money to paint my apartment. Hopefully they do not try to charge me to paint it back when I leave because I wouldnt have had to pay for it if they would have done their jobs in the first place.

I would say it is very nice. The only problem I have is my maintenance request are ignored. I pay my rent on time and love it here. But I should not have to keep being told the maintenance man would be right down. Not happening.

Lovely apartments, however the windows and doors let more air in than would be expected. Enough air comes through to make curtain blow away from the window. I am used to setting my thermostat at 72 or 74 and being comfortable all night, not the case here. Gloss paint in all areas of each apartment would also be great. You are practically able to wipe paint off the walls if for any reason you have to wipe it down because of its matte texture. Lovely fixtures and appliances. Painters should be more careful when painting to ensure they do not get any on the floors and mirrors or at least clean it up before it dry. Other than that great layout and overall feel. I would make a few minor adjustments if I could. Thanks

I have lived at many different apartment town home complexes other the years. The Retreat at Germantown is the best I have ever lived in and the pricing for units is very reasonable. The service and maintenance that you receive is top notch and timely. The staff is always very helpful. I would give The Retreat at Germantown a 5 5 for a review.

The grounds are park-like the apartments are not crowded in together like sardines. The maintenance is prompt and courteous. I love the layout. and need replacing.The only con is the windows are not energy efficient
